Animals live free and reproduce independently, and there are about two million species in the Animal kingdom. Apart from this, animals are grouped based on their genetics, similarities, and characteristics.

Types of Animals

• Animal classes are groups of animals that share some characteristics. Scientists classify animals for easier study.
• Mammals, birds, fishes, reptiles, amphibians, and reptiles are the most common vertebrates.
• It's common knowledge that spiders and insects are arachnids, animals without backbones. They're called invertebrates.
