When we see any living organisms in the world, they are made of cells. Whether there is a single cell or a type of multicellular cell, they perform their functions. The term cells refer to the unit's structure present in the living organisms. These are the cells that are made with pre-existing cells.
Organisms
The organisms are classified into two parts: unicellular organisms and multicellular organisms.
1. Unicellular organisms
- Unicellular organisms are organisms that are made of single cells.
- Unicellular organisms are organisms that are made of single cells.
2. Multicellular organisms
- Multicellular organisms are organisms that are made of different parts of cells.
- These cells form the different parts and functions of the organism.
- Example: Fungi, animals.
Cell's shape
- The cell's shape is very different as it depends on the function type it is made of. And each shape of the cell will perform various functions.
- Example: WBC (White Blood Cells) or Amoeba.
Elements of cell
The cell comprises three different components: the plasma membrane, nucleus, and cytoplasm. These are discussed below:
- The plasma membrane is an envelope type that covers the whole cell parts.
- The cell will get separated from the external environment due to the plasma membrane.
