The SOF ICSO is conducted in partnership with The Institute of Company Secretaries of India, a statutory body under an Act of Parliament, under the administrative control of The Ministry of Corporate Affairs, Government of India, New Delhi.
The SOF ICSO is open to the students of classes 11 & 12. Prospectus containing the Registration forms are sent to all schools registered with SOF. Schools not registered may also request for prospectus by sending an e-mail at info@sofworld.org/ phone call. Schools must return the registration forms to SOF, duly filled in and complete in all respects by the due date.
Students pursuing 11th / 12th are at the threshold of making the most crucial decision about their career. The ICSO assists the student’s inself realisation of his / her potential and aptitude. Besides the self-realisation, SOF also recognizes the potential of the student by conferring upon them awards on Merit Basis.
Participants of Olympiads are ranked on the basis of marks obtained. Hence, after taking the exam, students can judge themselves academically at four different levels - within the school, at city level, at Zonal level and above all at International level.
Each student is provided a Student Performance Report (SPR). The SPR analyses the strong and weak areas of the student and also gives a detailed performance comparison of the student vis-à-vis other students at School, City, Zonal and International level. Analysis of the student’s past 2 years’ performance is also provided.
Students are suitably awarded based on their International, Zonal and School ranking. Prizes are announced annually and include cash awards, medals, gifts, certificates etc. The International toppers from each class are awarded at a grand prize distribution ceremony held in Delhi, presided over by eminent personalites. Prizes for Zonal winners and school winners are sent to their respective schools. For the year 2018-19, a sum of Rs. 16 crores will be incurred towards awards, felicitations, scholarships etc.
Students of classes 11th & 12th are eligible to appear for the SOF ICSO. There is no other eligibility criterion like minimum marks. SOF ICSO is a single level exam.
Students from Science, Commerce & Humanities may appear for the SOF ICSO.
