When it comes to money, there are several coins used in India. It can be like 25 paisa, 50 paisa, 1 Rs, 2 Rs, 5 Rs and 10 Rs.
Assume you have 50-rupee notes and 25-paise coins. In other words, you can consider this amount as Rupees 50 and paise 25.
In figures, we address it as 50 Rupees 25 paise or ₹ 50.25.

Fifty-five rupees we write as Rs. 55 or ₹ 55.
When we write rupees and paise together, 25 rupees and 75 paisa, we write ₹ 25.75. A point separates rupees and paise.
As we know, 1 Rupee = 100 paise
To convert rupees into paisa, we have to double the number of rupees by 100
Example 1. Convert ₹ 75 into paisa
Solution. ₹ 75 = 75 X 100 = 7500 paisa
To turn paisa into rupees and paise, the easy way is to place a dot (.) after two figures from the right of the given number showing paisa and write Rs. On the left of the given amount.
We know that
1 rupee = 100 paise
Therefore, if we want to convert rupees into paisa, we multiply the rupee number by 100
Conversion of paise into rupees.
To convert paisa into rupees, we have to divide paisa by 100.
Example:-
5050p = 5050 / 100 = 50.50
